BLOCKCHAIN FOR SUPPLY CHAIN – PART 2
Wednesday, June 12, 2019
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors
200 John James Audubon Parkway, Suite 201, Buffalo NY 14228
In October, 2018, World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara (WTCBN), the Buffalo Niagara International Trade Gateway Organization (ITGO), InfoTech WNY and Blockchain Buffalo collaborated on an event connecting two separate but related conversations – growth of blockchain technology and growth of blockchain technology in supply chain. Representatives from Buffalo’s blockchain, logistics and manufacturing communities joined for a well-received introductory conversation.
On June 12, the four organizations, in collaboration with the University of Buffalo, will present a follow-up event, to allow those companies and individuals the opportunity take the conversation to the next level in hopes of building a foundation for greater development of blockchain technology among the logistics ecosystem in the bi-national Buffalo Niagara region.
The June event will feature:
- Blockchain for supply chain education with expert panelists
- Matchmaking among logistics and manufacturing companies and blockchain specialists
- Launch of a Buffalo Niagara Blockchain for Supply Chain School, to commence in Fall, 2019
The event will be marketed to manufacturers, logistics and supply chain providers, Buffalo Niagara’s start-up community, the region’s blockchain community, InfoTech WNY and to Canadian partners.
Speakers and sponsors will enjoy access to those communities, including networking and contact information, as well as the ability to provide materials as necessary.
