TEDxYouth@Buffalo 2018 “IGNITE” Conference

Thursday, March 8th
Thu, Mar 8th, 9:00am - Thu, Mar 8th, 2:00pm

InfoTech WNY is a proud BRONZE sponsor of TEDxYouth Buffalo 2018

This independently-produced TEDx event entitled TEDxYouth@Buffalo will feature local speakers presenting new ideas related to youth and in reference to this year’s theme, “Ignite.” Live streaming of up to 4 speakers from the national TED Youth Day event will also be part of the agenda. Per TEDx event rules, our live audience is a limited engagement and open to 125 students from throughout Western New York and 25 of our essential staff members.

Since its inception, TEDxYouth@Buffalo has been able to provide admission and meals for our limited audience through charitable contributions. While there is no admission charge, tickets for the live event are made available to local schools and colleges in small groups to encourage collaborative learning and idea sharing.

Simulcast live, the event will be available to the general public as a live stream on www.tedxyouthbuffalo.com. There will also be “Viewing Parties” open to the public in central locations where groups can see the event in its entirety. Access via Livestream or Viewing Party will be promoted on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and on www.tedxyouthbuffalo.com (governed in content and sponsorship logos by TEDx event rules of licensing). Regular communication about the event will be sent via emails, Facebook and Instagram posts, and tweets to several thousand individuals (highly concentrated in WNY) who will be invited to attend the event in person, host a viewing party, and attend a viewing party.
