The primary function of the Manager of Information Technology is to oversee all aspects of Programming, Testing, Technical Support, and Internal Systems Support at our organization.

The Manager of Information Technology will have responsibility for the following:
• Day to day management of Information Technology department;
• Work in conjunction with the department staff to provide hardware and software services across all product lines;
• Oversee all software solution needs and requirements of of our company;
• Oversite of timelines and goals are met for all IT projects to ensure deadlines for releases are achieved;
• Ensure that data integrity is maintained in all IT systems and operations;
• Work with CIO and Product Managers to ensure good communication and complete integration of every product’s needs for information technology;
• Contribute to software specification and assist CIO with determining the direction of software product development;
• Responsible for technology systems and facility security
• Maintaining accurate job descriptions, hiring, training, and maintaining appropriate personnel for functions for which the Information Technology department is responsible;
• Provide leadership and mentoring to all department supervisors/staff to support all department goals and activities, ensuring a culture of excellence;
• Identify backup for each position and insure appropriate training;
• Creation and maintenance of standards by which the Information Technology department operates;
• Creation and maintenance of policies and procedures utilized by Information Technology department for efficient operation; and enforcement of all IT and company policies;
• Annual budget for Information Technology department created in conjunction with all Product Managers, CIO and COO;
• In coordination with CIO develop short term goals for the IT department and manage IT department personnel to successfully achieve them. Support and implement long range goals and plans established by Executive committee and CIO;
• Ensure sufficient technical documentation of all product software;
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of IT technology as it related to our company's and its technology needs;
• Maintain and ensure up to date technology solutions for products, internal needs and server rooms;
• Position requires access to PHI provided by customers and stored in company data bases, and requires compliance with all our company policies and guidelines related to handling PHI;
• Ability to work with other departments and team members as needed to ensure support our company’s mission, vision, values and goals in support of Mission, Vision & Values of our company; and
• Other responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or technical discipline
• 5 years technical experience network administration, hardware and software support;
• Software development experience a plus;
• 3 years of management experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft and Oracle solutions.
• Experience working successfully as a team member while demonstrating leadership in team building
• Matrix organizational experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Flexibility with ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, repetitive movement of wrist, hands, and fingers, ability to lift 25 pounds and normal levels of speech, hearing and vision.
