Working in a large, globally dispersed team, the IT systems analyst will gather and document requirements from the stakeholder as well as feedback on solution designs.
This 6-month contract will help shape the future state solution of a global system used in 69 countries by 30,000 users related to commercial and high dollar value lending and risk assessment.
As part of the IT team, it is critical to be aware of the development process and stakeholder expectations in order to best support the project’s success.
Working closely with IT management, system designers, and other internal experts, the IT systems analyst will be responsible for documenting the key information and details such as user stories, descriptions of screen functionality and process flow, requirements status, articulating questions for the business, and interpreting end-user feedback to the technical development staff.
The IT systems analyst will also have direct expose to end user representatives and business stakeholders across our main sites including London, France, Canada, Hong Kong, India, and the US. Reporting to global delivery manager and taking direction from lead IT business analysts.
Candidate must be able to learn quickly and work independently within the group, identifying opportunities to assist with minimal guidance, and following up on assignments and challenges in a timely manner.
Experience in large systems development or global software development projects.
Progressive experience in career as an IT analyst.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to know how to manage stakeholder expectations, manage change of requirements or scope, and effectively elicit the needed input from the IT or business stakeholders.
Very Strong Professional writing skills in English
Experience in banking/financial institutions with business subject matter knowledge of credit and lending in the commercial banking and credit risk context.
Working knowledge and experience with Agile, especially management of user stories, requirements, and backlogs. Must be able to describe what “good looks like” and clearly articulate any potential gaps.
Expert use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Past experience in software development Understanding of data models and business object models, preferably in the commercial lending and credit risk space.
Experience in multicultural work environment.
