We’re looking for passionate software developers who are willing to contribute, learn and own their applications with pride. Our senior front end developers are technology experts in HTML, CSS and JavaScript – leading our team that owns the development of our web and mobile user interfaces.

Participate in agile team activities, including: Story writing, planning, estimation, daily standups
Lead discussions with product owner and technical team to plan solutions to customer problems
Lead implementation of web and mobile applications
Advance current web and mobile development technologies and standards across product suite
Continuously improve the process and technical direction of the team
Ensure a sufficient level of automated testing across the application
Diagnose and solve production issues

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Digital Media Arts or related field or 6+ years of experience designing and implementing web and mobile applications
Demonstrable track record of delivering modern web & mobile applications
Expert in HTML5 / CSS3
Proficient with JavaScript, beyond JQuery
Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks – Angular, Backbone, Knockout, etc.
Experience with mobile development – iOS, Android, hybrid (PhoneGap/Cordova), Ionic framework
Deep knowledge of standards and best practices for web and mobile development
Experience in or willingness to learn the following technologies:
Stylesheet and JS pre-processors (SASS, LESS, CoffeeScript, etc)
Cross platform (browser / mobile device) debugging
Proven capability to create maintainable, adaptable software that is non-brittle and capable of change
Unquestionable team communication skills
Awareness and appreciation for what makes a web application “accessible” and the associated standards

A Big Plus
Experience in an agile software development environment
Experience with object oriented design principles and SOLID development practices
Experience with a variety of source control and development tooling (GIT, TFS, WebStorm, Visual Studio, Sublime text, Grunt, Bower)
Experience with relational and NoSQL/document databases
